I am a dynamic, energetic, positive, and passionate person. I believe in setting goals and achieving them. Not just in work, but in life, in personal relationships, in health, and in happiness.
- I am happily married to the man I met when Iwas 17.
- I love my oversized, floppy, silly labradoodle, Copper.
- I live in Sydney, Australia – the most beautiful city in the world!
- I talk to my family wherever they are in the world via Skype almost everyday – love the internet!
- I love to travel, drink wine, sip scotch, watch movies, eat popcorn, drive sports cars, and have friends over for dinner.
- I am an advocate for the party plan, MLM, direct selling industry and I love to share my ideas about how to run a profitable party planning business in presentations (yes, you can book me) and through this blog.
- I run my own successful party planning business with PartyLite Australia, selling PartyLite candles, exclusive fragrances, and home decorating accessories.
- I support my ever-growing team of independent PartyLite consultants on Wendy’s Candle Website.
- I am a singer and a guitar player and have turned that in to a semi-professional hobby. You can see more about my Sydney-based bands here.
- I also provide my two cents’ worth to other small businesses as an advisor. I use my experience in strategic, financial, project management, and marketing to help other companies develop successful growth, development and exit strategies.

Born in the USA (with the accent to prove it), I have lived in 5 US states (VA, FL, AZ, CO, and TX) and, now with my Aussie passport firmly in hand, 1 Australian state (NSW). I attended university and received three degrees in business (BS, MBA, MIM) but, more importantly, I’ve applied that book knowledge in many ways in real life. I have worked in the hospitality industry, the telecommunications industry, retail sales, multi-level marketing industry, franchises, and the music industry.
